Abstract:

LeAnn Halvorson will present different ways to save time while teaching. Also, there will be organization tips to streamline the piano studio for efficiency.

Bio:

LeAnn is in her 47th year teaching piano. She loves teaching and has a Certificate in Piano Pedagogy, and an Associate Degree in Commercial Art from Valley City State University of Mary, Bismark, N.D.

She is the owner of the music publishing company “Music Perceptions” where she has been creating cool teaching tools and books for student learning since 1990. Music Perceptions is publishing fun interactive SuperScore Music books for the SuperScore app for the ipad: Link to app Found Here.

LeAnn plays piano and organ Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo, Illinois and at St. Lukes Methodist Church in St. Louis. She is often called on to adjudicate for music contests and enjoys hearing students perform.
