Our New World of Teaching Online: Tips for Success for You and Your Students

A quick look at Dr. Smith’s website reveals a list of some 25 lectures, surveying the breadth of the teaching and performing fields. But NOT this one. The recent pandemic necessitates adding a new talk to the list. While we may all feel somewhat “adjusted’ to online teaching after a few months, it is still a relatively new field. Will we ever feel  as successful  teaching online as we do in person? One of America’s best known pedagogues and lecturers, Scott McBride Smith uses his vast experience and well loved humor to instruct us in the use of new technologies, and coddle, cajole and convince us we can not only make do with it, but thrive.
